Fishing at the Beach

So since wednesdays are usually one of my days off of work Ryan, myself and Brian all got ocean fishing poles(mine is pink) so we could go fishing at the beach. We got up super early yesterday and drove to the beach. It took a while to actually start fishing because we had to get licenses and bait, As soon as we got there Brian and I were able to start fishing because we had to get line for Ryan's pole. So Ryan and I were kind of sharing my pole and after about 45 minutes Ryan thinks he's getting some bites, but it was hard to tell because the waves pull the line and it can be deceiving. Finally he realizes something was on the line so he pulled it in and it was a shark! It was just a baby leopard shark about 14-16 inches long but it was so cool looking! We kept it in the bucket for a little while to make sure it was still alive and showed it off to people walking by and then we let jaws go. We left the spot at laguna beach and went to look for a less crowded place to fish and finally ended up on the Balboa pier where we caught lots and lots of mackerel. It was so much fun!
